Established in 1952, Faith United Church of Christ is an energetic, dynamic congregation who fervently believes that God is still speaking to God’s people today. Our mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, not only in our words and worship, but also through our relationships with one another, our community and our world. We take seriously Jesus’ commission to “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit....” If you are seeking a church home, please consider joining us for worship or contacting our pastor with any questions. Please know you are truly welcomed here at Faith United Church of Christ! Our WORSHIP begins at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday and concludes on or about 11:30 a.m. with our Coffee Hour in Fellowship Hall. We offer church school for school-aged children during the worship hour and have a staffed nursery for children five years old and under. We offer a Saturday evening service, "Welcome & Praise", held on the first and third Saturdays each month at 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. You can read and see more about our worship together by clicking HERE. Faith's CHRISTIAN EDUCATION has been a hallmark of the church since its founding in 1952, and Faith's educators are dedicated and committed to teaching and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with all God's children. Education at Faith includes the adults, who meet in Memorial Parlor at 9:15 a.m. the first and third Sundays of the month for coffee and to hear and discuss important topics. Faith's newest group, Circle of Faith, meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Please take a look at the EDUCATION page for more information! ACTIVITIES for children, youth, and adults are alive and well at Faith! From the various church committees, our Senior and Junior Choirs, and our Hand Bell Choir to our Sunday Movie Matinee and our youth group, the "Cool Dudes", there is something interesting and enlightening for all ages to participate in. We have a weekly lectionary-based Bible study each Wednesday morning. Faith has planned and continues to plan Family Nights at the church. A new group, the Not Quite Over The Hill Gang, is being formed in January, 2008. You'll get all the news by clicking HERE Faith's dedicated STAFF is comprised of our pastor, the Rev. Russell Campbell; our Director of Educational Ministries, Ms. Linda Lenhart, C.M.C.E.; our Director of Music, Mr. Charles McAnall; and our office administrator, Ms. Kathy Kreeger. NOTE: As much as we'd like to display pictures of our children, youth, and congregation members, we have decided not to do so. Privacy issues notwithstanding, Faith United Church of Christ is implementing a Safe Church Policy, which precludes identifiable picture displays without written releases and is intended to continue Faith's practice of making our church a safe and secure place for all. But please don't allow the paucity of people's pictures deter your visit. When you visit with us, you'll experience what one of our senior members has stated: "Faith church is really on fire!"
